1082 — Mūsā also narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abbād narrated to us, saying: Sufyān ibn Uyayna narrated to us, from Ibn Judān, who said: I heard Anas ibn Mālik say: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “I shall be the first to grasp the ring of the gate of Paradise and rattle it.” Anas said: It is as though I can see the hand of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—as he said, “and rattle it.”
On another occasion, Ibn Abbād said: He said: Anas also said: It is as though I can see the hand of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—moving it. Sufyān demonstrated the motion, and Ibn Abbād demonstrated it to us, moving his hand to the right and left and saying, “Like this.”
Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: Mūsā ibn Hārūn closed his hand and began moving it; Abū Bakr al-Ājurrī closed his hand and began moving it; Abū al-Qāsim closed his hand and moved it; and Abū Bakr ibn Abī al-Fadl closed his hand and moved it.
