1077 — Hāmid ibn Shuayb al-Balkhī narrated to us: Yahyā ibn Ayyūb al-Ābid narrated to us: Abd Allah ibn Jafar narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abī Sālih, from his father, from Abū Hurayra, who said: The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “I am the leader of the children of Adam, and this is no boast.”
