107 — Abū Bakr Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Hamīd al-Wāsitī narrated to us, saying: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: al-Hawtī, Abd al-Wahhāb ibn Najda, informed us, saying: Baqiyya ibn al-Walīd narrated to us, saying: Sawāda ibn Ziyād and Amr ibn Muhājir narrated to us, from Umar ibn Abd al-Azīz, who wrote to the people: “No one’s opinion has any standing in the face of a sunnah established by the Messenger of Allah.”
١٠٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ قَالَ: أنا الْحَوْطِيُّ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ نَجْدَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَوَادَةُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى النَّاسِ: إِنَّهُ لَا رَأْيَ لِأَحَدٍ مَعَ سُنَّةٍ سَنَّهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ
