1057 — Al-Baghawī, Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz, also narrated to us, saying: ⦗1572⦘ Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abī al-Shawārib narrated to us, saying: Jafar ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, saying: Al-Jad Abū Uthmān narrated to us, from Anas ibn Mālik, from Jābir ibn Abd Allah, who said:

“The people complained of thirst to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He called for a drinking vessel and some water, which he poured into it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) then placed his hand in the vessel and said, ‘Draw water.’ I saw springs of water welling up from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).”
