1052 — And al-Firyābī narrated to us, saying: Ubayd Allāh ibn Umar al-Qawārīrī narrated to us, saying: Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, saying: Sulaymān al-Taymī informed us, on the authority of Abū al-Alā, on the authority of Samura ibn Jundab, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) “was brought a large bowl containing meat. People took turns eating from it from morning until noon: one group would rise and another would sit down. Samura was asked, ‘Was it being replenished?’ He replied ⦗1567⦘, ‘Why are you surprised? It was replenished only from here,’ and he pointed toward the sky.”
