1009 — Abū al-Qāsim also narrated to us, saying: Abd Allāh ibn Umar ibn Abān narrated to us, saying: Ishāq ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, from Mūsā ibn Ubayda, from Ayyūb ibn Khālid, from Abd Allāh ibn Rāfi, from Abū Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “On the Day of Resurrection, there will come with me from my nation a multitude as vast as the night and as sweeping as a flood, overwhelming the people in a single surge. The angels will say, ‘Why are those who have come with Muhammad from his nation more numerous than those who came with all the other prophets?’”
