995 — Abū al-Qāsim Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Azīz al-Baghawī narrated to us, saying: Abd Allah ibn Mutī narrated to us, saying: Ismāīl ibn Jafar narrated to us, from al-Alā ibn Abd al-Rahmān, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said: “I was sent to all creation, and with me the succession of prophets was brought to a close.”
