957 — Abū Muhammad Abd Allāh ibn Sālih al-Bukhārī informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abī Umar al-Adanī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Jafar ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn—may Allah be pleased with them—narrated to us, saying: “I bear witness that my father related from his father, from his grandfather, ⦗1418⦘ from Ali—may Allah be pleased with him—that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said:

“I came forth through marriage, never through fornication, from the time of Adam until I was born to my father and mother. Nothing of the fornication of the pre-Islamic age ever touched me.”
