945 — Abū Abd Allah Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Shāhīn narrated to us, saying: Hārūn ibn Abd Allah al-Bazzāz narrated to us, saying: Shuayb ibn Harb narrated to us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Tahmān narrated to us, saying: Budayl ibn Maysara al-Uqaylī narrated to us, from Abd Allah ibn Shaqīq, from Maysara al-Fajr, who said: I asked the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—“When were you a Prophet?” He replied, “I was a Prophet while Adam was between the spirit and the body.”
