So remember Me, and I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and do not deny Me.” [al-Baqarah: 152]

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:

It is shameful for Muslims to be ignorant of the virtues of their Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and of the honors and distinction that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, specially bestowed upon him in this world and the Hereafter. I have already composed four concise, fine volumes on this subject, describing what Allah, Mighty and Majestic, specially bestowed upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at each successive stage.

I have also wished to mention in this book, which I have entitled The Book of the Revealed Law, those virtues of our Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of which Muslims ought not to be ignorant, but which will instead increase them in knowledge, virtue, and gratitude to their Generous Lord. Allah is the One who grants success in what I have set out to do and assists me therein, if Allah wills.
