Muhammad ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—said: There are many similar passages in the Quran stating that the God-fearing will abide securely in Paradise, never tasting death therein and never leaving Paradise. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: “Indeed, the God-fearing will be in a secure place, amid Gardens and springs, dressed in fine silk and rich brocade, facing one another.” [al-Dukhān: 51] Up to His words: “And He will protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.” [al-Dukhān: 56]

Muhammad ibn al-Husayn said: Allah Most High has stated in His Book that the people of the Fire who truly belong there will abide therein forever. Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says in Sūrat al-Nisā’: “Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrongdoing—Allah will neither forgive them nor guide them to any path except the path of Hell, where they will abide forever. And that is easy for Allah.” [al-Nisā’: 168]

And He, Mighty and Majestic, says in Sūrat al-Ahzāb: “Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blazing Fire.” [al-Ahzāb: 64] To the end of the verse,
