935 – Abū Muhammad ibn Sāʿid narrated to us, saying: al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abī ʿAdī narrated to us, saying: Humayd al-Tawīl narrated to us, from Anas, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “I entered Paradise and saw therein a river whose banks were lined with tents of pearl. I plunged my hand into its watercourse, and there was intensely fragrant musk. I said, ‘O Gabriel, what is this?’ He replied, ‘This is al-Kawthar, which Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has granted you.’”
