930 — Al-Firyābī informed us. He said: Ibrāhīm ibn Abd Allah al-Harawī narrated to us. He said: Khalaf ibn Khalīfa narrated to us, from Yazīd ibn Kaysān, from Abū Hāzim, from Abū Hurayra ⦗1360⦘, who said:

“One day, while we were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, we heard a loud crash. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked us, ‘Do you know what that was?’ We replied, ‘Allah and His Messenger know best.’ He said, ‘That was a stone cast into Hell seventy autumns ago; only now has it reached its bottom.’”
