902 — Abū Hafs ʿUmar ibn Ayyūb al-Saqatī narrated to me. He said: al-Hasan ibn ʿArafa narrated to us. He said: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh al-Himsī narrated to us, from ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Ziyād al-Ifrīqī, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Yazīd, from ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAmr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “On the Day of Resurrection, a man will be brought to the Scale, and ninety-nine records will be brought forth, each extending as far as the eye can see and containing his errors and sins. They will be placed in one pan of the Scale. Then a card the size of a fingertip will be brought out, bearing the testimony that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. It will be placed in the other pan, and it will outweigh his errors and sins.”
