901 — Abū Jaʿfar Muhammad ibn Sālih ibn Dharīh al-Ukbarī narrated to us. He said: ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿĀmir ibn Zurāra narrated to us. He said: Sharīk narrated to us, from Khalaf ibn ⦗1333⦘ Hawshab, from Maymūn ibn Mihrān, who said: I asked Umm al-Dardā, “Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?” She replied: “Yes. I heard him say: ‘Indeed, the first thing to enter the Scale is good character.’”
