895 — Abū Muhammad ibn Sāid narrated to us: al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazī narrated to us: Abd al-Rahmān ibn Mahdī informed us: Hammād ibn Salama narrated to us, from Thābit, from Abū Uthmān al-Nahdī, from Salmān, who said: “The Scale will be set up on the Day of Resurrection, and if the heavens and the earth were placed in it, it could contain them. The angels will say, ‘O Lord, whom will You weigh with this?’ He will reply, ‘Whomever I will among My creation.’ They will then say, ‘Glory be to You! We have not worshipped You as You truly deserve to be worshipped.’”
