894 — Al-Firyābī informed us: Ubayd Allah ibn Muādh narrated to us: my ⦗1329⦘ father narrated to us: Hamād ibn Salama narrated to us, from Thābit, from Abū Uthmān al-Nahdī, from Salmān, who said: “The Bridge will be laid out on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have an edge as sharp as a razor. He said: The Scale will also be set up, and if the heavens, the earth, and all that they contain were placed in one of its pans, it could contain them all. The angels will say, ‘Our Lord, whom will You weigh with this?’ He will reply, ‘Whomever I will among My creation.’ They will then say, ‘Our Lord, we have not worshipped You as You truly deserve to be worshipped.’”
