62 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us; Rawḥ ibn ʿUbādah narrated to us; Hisham narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from ʿImran ibn Ḥuṣayn:

His abdomen became swollen with dropsy, so a couch was bored through for him, and he remained upon it for thirty years. The angels would greet him with peace until he had himself cauterized two years before his death; when he underwent cauterization the greetings ceased, but they later resumed.
