58 – al-Husayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Hamzah b. al-ʿAbbas told me; ʿAbdan informed us; ʿAbd Allah informed us; Baqiyyah b. al-Walid informed us; he said, “Buhayr b. Saʿd narrated to me from Khalid b. Maʿdan, who said: Yazid b. Murthad al-Hamdani narrated to us that Abu al-Dardaʾ said:
‘The pinnacle of faith comprises four qualities: patience with the divine ruling, contentment with the decree, sincerity in reliance (upon Allah), and full submission to the Lord.’
٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ قَالَ: حَدّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَانُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي بُحَيْرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ: " ذِرْوَةُ الْإِيمَانِ أَرْبَعُ خِلَالٍ: الصَّبْرُ لِلْحُكْمِ وَالرِّضَا بِالْقَدَرِ وَالْإِخْلَاصُ لِلتَّوَكُّلِ وَالِاسْتِسْلَامُ لِلرَّبِّ ﷿ "
