49 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; he said: ʿAbdullāh narrated to us; he said: ʿAlī ibn Ibrāhīm al-Yashkurī told me; he said: Yaʿqūb ibn Muḥammad al-Zuhrī narrated to us; he said: ʿAbdullāh ibn Wahb narrated to us, from al-Ḥārith ibn Yazīd, from ʿAlī ibn Rabāḥ, from Junādah ibn Abī Umayyah, who said that he heard ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit say:

A man came to the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and asked, “Messenger of Allah, which deed is best?” He replied, “Faith in Allah, affirming His Messenger, and striving in His path.” The man said, “I would like something easier than that.” He answered, “Then never harbor suspicion about anything He decrees.”
