4 – Al-Ḥusayn reported to us; he said, ʿAbd Allāh reported to us; he said, Dāwūd ibn Rushayd reported to us; he said, Abū al-Malīḥ reported to us; he said, Furāt ibn Salmān narrated, from Anas ibn Mālik, who said: I served the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when I was eight years old, and I remained in his service for ten years. Never did anyone from his household reproach me without his saying, “Leave him alone; had anything been decreed, it would have come to pass.”
