39 – al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; al-ʿAbbās ibn Yazīd narrated to us; Yaʿlā ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-ʿAnbarī narrated to us; Sayyār ibn Salāmah narrated to us: A man visited Abū l-ʿĀliyah during the illness from which he would pass away, whereupon he said, “Indeed, the one I love the most is the one whom Allah loves the most.”
٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ قَالَ: حَدّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ ابْنُ سَلَامَةَ قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلَى أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ أَحَبَّهُ إِلَيَّ أَحَبُّهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ ﷿»
