99 – Al-Ḥusayn narrated to us; ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan narrated to me, and he said that ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn Ḥabīb al-Dimashqī stated:
“In the Zabur (Psalms) of David—peace be upon him—it is written:
Blessed is the man into whose heart Allah looks and finds contentment; he thereby becomes entitled to a magnificent reward.
Blessed is the one whom people’s anxieties do not preoccupy; and whenever anger that would lead to sin presents itself, he suppresses his rage with forbearance.”
