6 – ʿAlī ibn Muslim narrated to me; Ibn Abī Fudayk narrated to us; from ʿUmar ibn Muḥammad al-Aslamī; from Ṣāliḥ ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Khaṭṭī; from his father; from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Five practices are part of the way of the Messengers: modesty, forbearance, cupping, the tooth-stick, and applying fragrance.”
