61 – Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Madīnī narrated to us; al-Rabīʿ ibn Badr transmitted from Abū ʿUbaydah, from al-Ḥasan, who said:
“The believer is forbearing: he does not behave ignorantly, and if others behave ignorantly toward him, he still shows forbearance. He is forbearing and never unjust; if he is wronged, he forgives. He does not sever ties, and if others cut him off, he reconnects. He is not stingy, and if people are stingy toward him, he remains patient.”
