58 – Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated to us; Yahya ibn Mughīrah related; from Hārūn ibn Ismāʿīl al-Khazzāz; from ʿAlī ibn al-Mubārak; from Muʿāwiyah ibn Qurra, who said:

“It is written among the words of wisdom: Do not keep company with the foolish on the strength of your forbearance, and do not keep company with the forbearing while you are acting foolishly.”
