51 – ʿAmr ibn Abī al-Ḥārith al-Hamadhānī narrated to me, reporting from Ḥassān ibn Yasār, who said:
“We were sitting with Mālik ibn Dīnār when a man from Banī Nājiyah came in and said, ‘Abū Yaḥyā, I have been told that you spoke ill of me.’ Mālik replied, ‘If that is so, then you are dearer to me than my own self.’”
