19 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; al-Mubārak ibn Faḍālah narrated from al-Ḥasan regarding the Exalted One’s words, “They walk upon the earth gently” (Q 25:63). He said, “In Arab usage, al-hawn means leniency, serenity, and dignified composure.”
