122 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbbad ibn Musa narrated to us; Ibn al-Sammak narrated, from al-Hasan ibn Dinar, from al-Huṣayb ibn Ḥajalah, from Rashid ibn Saʿd, from Abu Umamah who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A servant will be handed his scroll, and he will find in it good deeds he never performed. He will ask, ‘My Lord, how did these good deeds come to me?’ Allah, Exalted is He, will answer, ‘They are the recompense for the people’s disparagement of you while you were unaware.’”
