Abū Mūsā narrated to us: ‘Abd al-Samad narrated to us: Hammām narrated to us: Qatādah narrated to us, from Abū Qilābah, from Abū Asmā’, from Abū Dharr, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, relating from his Lord, blessed and exalted is He:
“I have forbidden injustice for Myself and for My servants, so do not wrong one another. Every child of Adam sins by night and by day, then asks My forgiveness, and I forgive him, and I do not mind.”
He also said:
“O children of Adam, all of you were astray except those whom I guided, and all of you were hungry except those whom I fed.”
He then related the rest of the hadith.
