Yahyā ibn Hakīm narrated to us, saying: Abū Hamzah narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Dhakwān, from Abū Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“When Allah created creation, He wrote a record and placed it above the Throne: ‘My mercy prevails over My wrath.’”
