Chapter on Affirming the Eye as an Attribute of Allah, Majestic and Exalted, as the Creator, the Originator, Has Affirmed It for Himself in His Clear Revelation and Through the Words of His Prophet, May Allah Bless Him and Grant Him Peace

Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said to His Prophet Noah, may Allah’s blessings be upon him:

“Build the ship under Our eyes and by Our revelation.” [Hūd: 37]

And He, Majestic and Exalted, said:

“Sailing under Our eyes.” [Al-Qamar: 14]

And He, Mighty and Majestic, said concerning Moses:

“And I bestowed upon you love from Me, so that you would be brought up under My eye.” [Tā Hā: 39]

And He said:

“And be patient with your Lord’s decree, for you are under Our eyes.” [Al-Tūr
