‘Abd al-Jabbār ibn al-‘Alā al-‘Attār narrated to us, saying: Sufyān narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmān, a client of the family of Talhah, from Kurayb, from Ibn ‘Abbās, who reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, went out for the dawn prayer while Juwayriyah was sitting in the mosque. When he returned later in the morning, he said:
“Have you remained sitting here since I left?”
She replied, “Yes.” He said:
“Since leaving you, I have said four phrases which, if weighed against your words, would outweigh them: Glory and praise be to Allah, in a measure equal to the number of His creation, the ink of His words, His own pleasure, and the weight of His Throne.”
