Bahr ibn Nasr al-Khawlānī narrated to us: Asad narrated to us: Abū Ghassān Muhammad ibn Mutarrif narrated to us, from Abū Hāzim, from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Miqsam, who stated:
“On the Day of Resurrection, there will be seventy thousand veils before the Lord: a veil of darkness that nothing can penetrate, a veil of light that nothing can penetrate, and a veil of water whose sound no being hears without its heart being torn out, except one whose heart Allah makes firm.”
