5 – Chapter on the Form of Our Lord, Majestic and Exalted, and the Splendor of His Face, Mighty and Majestic
Exalted is our Lord above His Face resembling the face of any of His creatures, and too glorious is He to be without a Face. For Allah has informed us in His clear revelation that He has a Face, described it as possessing majesty and honor, and declared that it will never perish.
٥ - بَابُ ذِكْرِ صُورَةِ رَبِّنَا جَلَّ وَعَلَا وَصِفَةِ سُبُحَاتِ وَجْهِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَعَالَى رَبُّنَا أَنْ يَكُونَ وَجْهُ رَبِّنَا كَوَجْهِ بَعْضِ خَلْقِهِ، وَعَزَّ أَلَا يَكُونَ لَهُ وَجْهٌ، إِذِ اللَّهُ قَدْ أَعْلَمَنَا فِي مُحْكَمِ تَنْزِيلِهِ أَنَّ لَهُ وَجْهًا، ذَوَّاهُ بِالْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ، وَنَفَى عَنْهُ الْهَلَاكَ
