And in the report of ‘Āmir ibn Sa‘d ibn Abī Waqqās, from his father, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said ⦗44⦘:
“You will not remain behind after me and perform a righteous deed seeking the Face of Allah without thereby rising in rank and standing.”
He also said in the report:
“You will not spend anything seeking the Face of Allah without being rewarded for it.”
Abū Bakr said: I have dictated this report in the Book of Bequests.
وَفِي خَبَرِ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ،
فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ⦗٤٤⦘:
«إِنَّكَ لَنْ تُخَلَّفَ بَعْدِي، فَتَعْمَلَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا تَبْتَغِي بِهِ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا ازْدَدْتَ دَرَجَةً وَرِفْعَةً»
وَقَالَ أَيْضًا فِي الْخَبَرِ:
«إِنَّكَ لَنْ تُنْفِقَ نَفَقَةً تُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا أُجِرْتَ عَلَيْهَا»
قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: أَمْلَيْتُ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ فِي كِتَابِ الْوَصَايَا
