And in the report of Zayd ibn Abī Unaysah, from al-Qāsim ibn ‘Awf al-Shaybānī, from ‘Alī ⦗43⦘ ibn Husayn, who said: Umm Salamah narrated to us that the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Whoever pays the zakat on his wealth willingly, seeking thereby the Face of Allah and the abode of the Hereafter”
Zakariyyā ibn Yahyā ibn Abān narrated this to us. He said: ‘Amr ibn Khālid and ‘Alī ibn Ma‘bad narrated to us. They said: ‘Ubayd Allāh ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Abī Unaysah. I have dictated it in full in the Book of Zakat.
وَفِي خَبَرِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ ⦗٤٣⦘ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ،
قَالَ:
حَدَّثَتْنَا أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ،
أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
«مَنْ أَدَّى زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ، طَيَّبَ النَّفْسَ بِهَا، يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةِ»
حَدَّثَنَاهُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبَانَ قَالَ: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ قَالَا: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ قَدْ أَمْلَيْتُهُ بِتَمَامِهِ فِي كِتَابِ الزَّكَاةِ
