ʿAlī ibn al-Husayn al-Dirhamī narrated to us. He said: Abū ʿAbd al-Samad al-ʿAmmī—meaning ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿAbd al-Samad—narrated to us, from Abū ʿImrān al-Jawnī, from Abū Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Qays, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“There are two gardens whose vessels and everything in them are of silver, and two gardens whose vessels and everything in them are of gold. Nothing stands between the people and their looking upon the Face of their Lord in the Garden of Eden except the cloak of majesty upon His Face.”
