Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūbah also related, from Qatādah, from Abū Nahīk, from Ibn ʿAbbās, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
“Whoever seeks refuge with Allah, grant him refuge; and whoever asks you by the Face of Allah, give to him.”
Nasr ibn ʿAlī al-Jahdamī and Ismāʿīl ibn Bishr ibn Mansūr al-Salīmī narrated this to us. They said: Khālid ibn al-Hārith narrated to us. He said: Saʿīd ibn Abī ʿArūbah narrated to us.
وَرَوَى سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
«مَنِ اسْتَعَاذَ بِاللَّهِ فَأَعِيذُوهُ، وَمَنْ سَاءَلَكُمْ بِوَجِهِ اللَّهِ فَأَعْطُوهُ»
حَدَّثَنَاهُ نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ السَّلِيمِيُّ،
قَالَا:
ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ،
قَالَ:
ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ
