Ya‘qūb ibn Ibrāhīm al-Dawraqī narrated to us, saying: Abū Mu‘āwiyah narrated to us, saying: al-A‘mash narrated to us, from Abū Sālih, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, related Allah’s words:

“I am with My servant when he remembers Me. If he remembers Me within himself, I remember him within Myself; and if he remembers Me in a gathering, I remember him in a gathering better than theirs.”

⦗16⦘ ‘Abdullāh ibn Sa‘īd al-Ashajj narrated to us, saying: Ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: al-A‘mash narrated to us the same report through this chain of transmission.
