22 — Chapter on the Twelfth Prophetic Tradition Affirming the Two Hands of Our Lord, Mighty and Majestic
It explains that Allah Most High will grasp the earth in His hand on the Day of Resurrection only after He manifests Himself to it, whereupon the earth will become a loaf of bread for the people of Paradise; for Allah grasps it while it is clay, stones, gravel, black mud, sand, and dust.
٢٢ - بَابُ ذِكْرِ السُّنَّةِ الثَّانِيَةَ عَشْرَةَ فِي إِثْبَاتِ يَدَيْ رَبِّنَا عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهِيَ الْبَيَانُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى إِنَّمَا يَقْبِضُ الْأَرْضَ بِيَدِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، بَعْدَ مَا يَبْدُو لَهَا فَتَصِيرُ الْأَرْضُ خُبْزَةً لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، لِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يَقْبِضُهَا وَهِيَ طِينٌ وَحِجَارَةٌ , وَرَضْرَضٌ , وحَمْأَةٌ , وَرَمَلٌ , وَتُرَابٌ
