knowledgeable of all things: does he possess knowledge or not?
If he says, “Allah knows secrets, private conversations, and what is even more hidden, and He knows all things,” he is asked: “Then does the One who knows secrets and private conversations, and who knows all things, possess knowledge or not?”
They have no answer to this question but to evade it:
“So the disbeliever was confounded. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”
[al-Baqarah: 258]
عَالِمٌ بِالْأَشْيَاءِ كُلِّهَا، أَلَهُ عِلْمٌ أَمْ لَا؟
فَإِنْ قَالَ:
اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَالنَّجْوَى وَأَخْفَى، وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ،
قِيلَ لَهُ:
فَمَنْ هُوَ عَالِمٌ بِالسِّرِّ وَالنَّجْوَى وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ، أَلَهُ عِلْمٌ أَمْ لَا عِلْمَ لَهُ؟
فَلَا جَوَابَ لَهُمْ لِهَذَا السُّؤَالِ إِلَّا الْهَرَبَ:
{فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ}
