Chapter: An Eighth Prophetic Tradition Clarifying That Our Creator, Majestic and Exalted, Has Two Hands, Both of Which Are Right Hands

Our Creator, Mighty and Majestic, has no left hand, for a left hand is an attribute of created beings. Exalted is our Lord above having a left hand.

Also included is evidence that in His words, Mighty and Majestic:

“Rather, both His hands are outstretched.”

[al-Mā’idah: 64]

He—exalted be His remembrance—meant by “two hands” two hands, not two blessings, as the Jahmiyyah, who deny the divine attributes, have claimed.
