17 – Chapter on a Seventh Prophetic Report Affirming Allah’s Hand and Clarifying That Allah’s Hand Is Uppermost
As Allah has stated in His clear revelation:
“The hand of Allah is above their hands.”
[Al-Fath: 10]
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, likewise stated:
“Allah’s hand is uppermost.”
That is, above the hands of both the giver and the recipient.
١٧ - بَابُ ذِكْرِ سُنَّةٍ سَابِعَةٍ تُثْبِتُ يَدَ اللَّهِ وَالْبَيَانُ أَنَّ يَدَ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا،
كَمَا أَخْبَرَ اللَّهُ فِي مُحْكَمِ تَنْزِيلِهِ:
{يَدُ اللَّهِ فَوْقَ أَيْدِيهِمْ}
[الفتح: ١٠]
،
فَخَبَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيْضًا:
«أَنَّ يَدَ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا»
أَيْ فَوْقَ يَدِ الْمُعْطِي , وَالْمُعْطَى جَمِيعًا
