- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Khalaf ibn Hisham narrated; Hazm ibn Abi Hazm reported: I heard al-Hasan say that a man from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah declared, “By Him in whose hand is my soul, if you wish I will most certainly swear to you by Allah that the servants most beloved to Allah are those who make Allah beloved to His servants and who travel through the land offering sincere counsel.”
٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، نا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، نا حَزْمُ بْنُ أَبِي حَزْمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَئِنْ شِئْتُمْ لَأُقْسِمَنَّ لَكُمْ بِاللَّهِ، أَنَّ أَحَبَّ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُحَبِّبُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَى عِبَادِهِ، وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِالنَّصِيحَةِ»
