28 – ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; Hārūn ibn Ma‘rūf narrated to us; Sufyān narrated to us, from Mis‘ar, from Ibrāhīm al-Saksakī, from Ibn Abī Awfā, who said:
“The best servants of Allah are those who love Allah, who endear Him to His servants, and who watch the sun, the moon, the shifting shadows, and the stars so that they may remember Allah.”
٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، نا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، نا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ السَّكْسَكِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ: «خِيَارُ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ، وَالَّذِينَ يُحَبِّبُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَى عِبَادِهِ، الَّذِينَ يُرَاعُونَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالْأَظِلَّةَ وَالنُّجُومَ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ»
