92 — Muhammad ibn al-Husayn related to me: Abd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr related to me, from Sufyān, who said: I was told that Abū Ja‘far said, “I come to Mecca out of my love for meeting Amr ibn Dīnār and Abd Allāh ibn Ubayd ibn Umayr.” Sufyān said, “He would bring them money for their expenses, gifts, and clothing, and would say, ‘I prepared all this for you at the beginning of the year.’”
٩٢ - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، قَالَ: حُدِّثْتُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " قُدُومِي مَكَّةَ حُبًّا لِلِقَاءِ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ يَحْمِلُ إِلَيْهِمُ النَّفَقَةَ وَالصِّلَةَ وَالْكِسْوَةَ وَيَقُولُ: هَيَّأْتُهَا لَكُمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ السَّنَةِ "
