8 — Ali ibn al-Jad narrated to us. He said: Abd al-Hamīd ibn Bahrām narrated to us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Abū Taybah, from Amr ibn Abasah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) say:

“Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: ‘My love is due to those who love one another for My sake, and My love is assured for those who befriend one another for My sake.’”
