Yahyā ibn Qatan al-Aylī narrated to us: Abd Allāh ibn Sālih, the scribe of al-Layth, narrated to us, saying: al-Layth ibn Saʿd narrated to us, from Yahyā ibn Saʿīd, from Amra, from Aisha, from the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—who said, “Souls are troops marshalled together: those among them that recognize one another are drawn together, while those that are mutually unfamiliar differ.”
