45 — Abd al-Rahmān ibn Sālih narrated to us, saying: Uthmān ibn Hakīm al-Awdī said:
“Keep company with one who is above you in religion and below you in worldly standing.”
٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ الْأَوْدِيُّ: «اصْحَبْ مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَكَ فِي الدِّينِ وَدُونَكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا»
